Meet the Owners of Sportsman Boats

Tommy Hancock and Dale Martin, two former boat company owners, have joined forces to manufacture an intelligently designed series of center console and bay boats. Through Sportsman Boats, they now offer several quality models. Tommy Hancock was one of the original founders of Sea Pro Boats Inc. and Dale Martin was a founder of Key West Boats Inc. Even after selling their businesses in 2003 and 2004, they both remained active in the marine industry. They saw a need in the boating industry and formed their new company to fill that need. Through many years of hunting and fishing together, Hancock and Martin have remained competitors and longtime friends for more than 25 years. Boat building is in their blood, and they are excited to see what the future holds for Sportsman Boats.
